Crop Yield Estimator

Reference yields · adjustment factors · revenue · multi-plot

Crop & Area

Auto-filled from the reference band. Your own recorded yield for this variety and field is always the better number.

Adjustment Factors (all editable ★)

Simple transparent multipliers, not an agronomic model. They multiply together rather than adding.

Revenue (optional)

Leave blank to skip the revenue estimate. Enter the price in whatever currency you work in.

Plots

Different crops and sizes are fine — the farm yield is area-weighted, so a large plot counts more than a small one.

Pick a crop and area to get an estimated yield with a visible breakdown of how each farm condition changed it, total production and optional revenue — or switch to multi-plot for a whole-farm summary

The reference yield bands here are broad general figures, not a location-specific prediction: actual yield depends on variety, soil type and depth, sowing date, weather through the season, pest and disease pressure, and management quality, and the gap between a good and a poor season on the same field can exceed the entire range shown. The adjustment factors are deliberately simple multipliers meant to make the estimate responsive to obvious differences, not a calibrated agronomic model — real responses are non-linear and interact with each other, so doubling fertiliser does not double the effect, and applying more than the crop can use wastes money and damages soil and water. Revenue figures are gross and take no account of input costs, labour, harvesting, transport, market fees or post-harvest losses, so they are not profit. Prices also move through the season and between markets, often falling exactly when everyone harvests. Treat the output as a planning starting point and check it against your own records for the same field, which will always be the most reliable predictor available to you.
