This uses a simplified two-segment charging curve — full effective rate to 80% state of charge, then a reduced rate for 80–100%. Real charging curves are more complex and taper continuously; actual speed also depends on battery temperature, state of health, the charger sharing power between stalls, and the vehicle's own management logic, so treat this as a planning estimate, not a guarantee. AC (Level 1/2) charging is limited by the car's onboard charger, which is often well below a DC charger's rating. The road-trip figure is a rough informational total and ignores driving time and battery pre-conditioning.
